Audugodi Traffic cops earn Rs 3 lakhs per month

This happened with me on 1st of August 2010 in koramangala, Bangalore.
Actually, I had parked my two-wheeler in front of a shop called "Sweet Chariot".
In no time the traffic cops came and took away my vehicle. The cops belonged to Audugodi Traffic Police Station.
When I went there to collect my vehicle, there were many other similar people who's vehicle was there because they had parked their two-wheeler in a no-parking zone and the cops had bought their vehicle.
When I met the in-charge cop, he told me that I've got to pay Rs. 300 for the offense. Also he told me that I'll get a receipt for this or else if I don't need the receipt I should pay him a sum of Rs. 200 as a bribe.
I being a student, and I run short of pocket money , I had to pay that sum.
Along with me there were at least 15 people who were ready to bribe them.
U all can imagine, if they get around 50 people on an average a day , they earn around Rs.10,000 each day.
This is a whopping figure and that cop earns more than a MP of our country. i.e., approx around Rs. 2.5lakhs to Rs 3lakhs.
This is going on till date.
If any of the lokayukta or any top official can stop this, please do it, and if U need my help I'm ready for it.
I'm even ready to park my two-wheeler in a no parking zone again so that traffic cops will take away my vehicle, and I can prove to U that how these cops are still taking a bribe.
Shame on such type of traffic cops. They are cheating people and our nation.
