To Apply for a Visa to Europe , my birth certificate had to be authenticated by the issuing authorities, after submission of the documents, to obtain an acknowledgement, that my original documents have been submitted, I had to bribe the clerk , otherwise it was implied that my documents might just vanish without a trace.
