Its like a rule for everybody here, to pay bribe to the police for any thing. Things what i noticed were passport verification and FIR.
I went for the verification and he said , " thoda chai-pani bhai, iske ********** to kam nahi chalta.". whaen i refused, he made me wait for 1 hour and again repeated the same thing. I needed my passport at urgent , so i asked him how much. he repied 300. but i refused and gave Rs. 50. in the end it was settled for Rs. 100.
One person sitting besides me was there to file an FIR, for that too he had to give Rs.400 as bribe. what a pity , for FIR one has to pay bribe. I dont know how to tacke this. will any body help me?
