This incident happened when I had gone to the KG Halli Police station to report the loss of my Cell Phone. Right from the outset, the cops had the care-a-**********attitude and even kept telling me that they would not be able to do anything...After making me run around for more than an hour (xerox of this and that), they reluctantly agreed to file a complaint. Once through, i proceeded to leave when a constable came upto me and said "Saar is calling"!! When i went inside he blankly asked me for "something"...I was taken aback....Dumbfounded, i put my hands in my wallet n luckily there was only one 100/- note. Seeing this the inspector (a one star official)...shamefully took it and said.."Dont worry saar, we will try our best"...So much for service ....Prior to this, while waiting, i saw another person offering a bribe to the same individuals (3 of them, one for writing the complaint, a senior person for offering unwanted advice and the 3rd cop who basically sat there doing nothing)....I am sure if a sting operation is launched this can be brought to light....
