Me and friends- New owners in an apartment have recently got the house registered in Haralur road .. When we went to BESCOM office in HSR Layout for change of electricity meter from Builder to our name ,we were openly asked for bribe - The application for was not available in office and could be sourced from a contractor office behind the hanuman temple. There are middle man named Raju , Venkat standing outside the premise (we were directed to him from the person sitting in the counter number 1)who blatantly ask for 2000 for meter change to our name . When my friend negotiated , it came down to 1600 per house.
