My parents never applied for a BC around 27 years ago and for some visa process i require birth certificate for the same. generally the serivce has to be completed in 3 weeks and waited for almost a month. Even i filed an RTI on the same but the response time is 30 days and so have to bribe them to get it done as i was already late for my VISA process.
