We had to go for excise registration. Each and every Excise consultant said that minimum 5000 Rs was to be bribed on registration and 10000 Rs was to paid at the time of site inspection. Even the Site visiting Excise inspector told us on face to avoid taking excise as their demands are high. They think that bribe is their right. We did not want to pay as we dont cheat government and dont do anything wrong. But to concentrate on our work we negotiated and paid 10000 rs.
