Before BBMP started collecting the property tax, we used to pay it in the corporation office. I had paid the tax in Bank and got the challan, but had not shown it in Corporation office to get the signature. Due to this, I had to pay Rs 1000/- to BBMP officer to allow me to pay the tax for the year 2008-2009.
