The customs officer asked me if i was married. my wife is of french nationality and we came for a vacation...he asked me why my wife's name is not on the passport?...i had my marriage certificate...despite the proof he threatened to confiscate my passport and tells me that you wont know when you'll see it again unless i pay him 60 euros, eventually settling for 30 euros, as that's what i had at that moment in my wallet...my wife looked on in disgust from the other side...welcome to india!
