5 of us were travelling from Jammu to Delhi by Rajdhani express on 13 July 2014 (Coach number B2). We had 4 confirm tickets and 1 was in waiting status. Since it was an e-ticket a waiting ticket was as gud as travel without ticket. The TT gave us two options:
Pay INR 2400 as penalty for travelling without ticket and no birth will be allotted, we have to adjust within the 4 berths available
OR
Pay INR 1500 to him and you get a berth alloted
We chose the option to pay 1500
