I paid a bribe of Bribe for checking the documents and approving for processing of my marriage certificate. The officer was reluctant to even look at our application. On offering the bribe, she shamelessly and immediately processed my application. There is no clarity in the procedure for the processing of marriage certificates similar to passport processing and hence this exploitation.
