Hi,
I'm resident of Mumbai and applied for passport 6 months back.Since in past one year I stayed few months in Surat , It was required that Surat police should clear my application and dispatch the report to Mumbai office.
On 4th of Feb (after 5 months of application)I was informed that Surat police is yet to clear the form so I asked my relative in Surat to visit the police station and get it cleared somehow. There, my relative was forced to pay 200Rs to get it cleared..
Surprisingly, rather shockingly , few days later ... Once enquired again, I came to know that the report was already dispatched on 29th Jan from Surat , still that police officer asked for "chai pani" and I was made to feed those dogs...
It was unfortunate , but I learnt that ,thats how things happen here...
