Bribe demanded by the police and CID for passport verification

As my passport form has come to police station for the verification. I got there and the police station in-charge asked me for bribe then only he will process with good feedback. he was demanding Rs 1500 but I negotiated it at Rs 500. Then other inquiry come by CID personnel and he demanded at least Rs1000. I refused to give him this amount then he threaten me otherwise he will give wrong feedback to cancel my passport and he putted cross mark on my form. finally he corrected my form after taking 5oo rupees
