Earlier i have heard that people pay bribe to get something done unlawfully... But the situation nowadays is that we have to pay the bribe even to get our rights. That's what happened to me too. Police came to my house for passport verification.All my papers were ready and he couldnt find anything wrong.Still he kept on going through it until my grandpa paid him a 100 rupee note.As soon as the money went to his pocket,he gave a satisfactory smile,kept aside my records and left the house. his last words were "You need to get the papers moving, right?" as though an explaination for why he took the money..
Aren't they getting salary for this???
