Bribe for Filing FIR for lost of mobile

I have lost my mobile phone, I have to obtain my previous mobile no. form the operator company. They asked for FIR, I visited police station, the person on the desk asked me directly "Sahab kuch chai pani". I told him to visit out side chaiwala with me, he said no give me Rs. 150/- he will do it by himself. I was shoked for just a single tea 150/-. I have no option but only to pay the required money otherwise I was not going to get FIR, so I have kept 50/- in his pocket and said "sahab itne se hi kaam chala lo" and he agrees. Thats it.
