After the death of a family member of mine due to suicide, we had to report the incident to the police (Annapurneshwarinagar police station). The bribes started from the moment we filed the complaint and now, the police (including the current inspector) has harassed us for a bribe, to close to case "quickly". They have scared and bullied us to believe that we will all be arrested and inquired, even though there was clear evidence in the phone of the person who died, that he took the extreme step due to an affair he had. Everyone from the 'complaint writer' to the 'inspector' who handled this case have taken part in the bribes.

This instance of bribery has started from 8th August 2020 and lasted till 18th August 2020. If the very people we believe will protect us, bully aggrieved people, it brings to question if Indians have any humanity left in their society.
