Bribe to get the arear
My mother is a pensioner in U.P government.She gets annual arrear of 40,000/- in Nov for which the clerk of treasury charges Rs 100.This year when i went to get the things done when he asked for the money.My mother forwarded the money.But when i inquired about the demand it was seems as this was a ritualistic bribe which the clerks take from every pensioner yearly.I reported the case to the higher authority but he was nonchalant about the issue and just asked the clerk to give back my money.I submitted a complaint to the official but it went to deaf ears
