Bribe to get back G.S.L.I. dues
My father worked in North Bengal Medical College and Hospital as a Sstore Keeper in Biochemistry Deptt.(Sushrutanagar, Dist: Darjeeling, West Bengal) and died few months before retirement on 13th September 2006. We knew got some due payments after his death but the GSLI payment was stopped. We ultimately bribed a personnel of the selfsame office as my father was in. There was no result. Also my JOB ON COMPASSIONATE GROUND had no response officially. We paid in total Rs.5500 to get the (1) DUES and (2) The job as soon as possible.
But after another year in the latter part of 2009 we came to know that my father was not at all a policy holder of G.S.L.I. and also that my APPLICATION on COMPASSIONATE GROUND was not submitted to the proper authority.
Since, we had no proof of payment we could not complain against any proper authority concerned, but the staff knows about the incident from us (though the cheat concerned denies all these allegations right from the start).
Today is the 17th of March 2011, I am still in waiting to get my job which is my rightful due even after 4 years and 6 months of my father's demise.
Let money in bribe alone,
(1) Who will account for the MONEY that I lost as salary had I GOT THE JOB ON TIME?
(2) How will I continue my mother's treatment after her operation now (suffering from last stage in stomach cancer) after all the savings of my father is finished?
I WANTED TO NAME THE PERSON, BUT I KNOW IT IS OF NO USE. STILL I SIMPLY WANT OTHERS TO BE MORE CAREFUL AND NOT TO SUFFER LIKE ME IN FUTURE.
