Bribe to get birth certificate

Due to ignorance of my parents my ********** of birth was not registered in my pancayat. So when i went to enquire about it they told me a very long procedure where i had to first apply at MRo office, then it will be forwarded to RDO office, then they will send a notice, RI will come and enquire, he has to send the report back, then again RDO offic ewill order them to issue birth certificate.

This involves travelling to my taluk center atleast 5 to 6 times which is quite hectic. So instead of it i paid bribe to Revenue Inspector who took care of all the matters how much has to go to every one along with his share.
