The actual registration charges as fixed by the Jharkhand Government is 4% of the actual price of property to be registered but the lawyer asked for 6% of the actual price quoted on sale deed. The lawyer said that 2% are paid to the registrar for signing on the document. I paid 20400 more for registration.
