I paid a bribe of 12000rupees for getting my khata documents. while the fees itself was 6000 rupees. so totally a sum of 18000 rupees shelled out. Around 6 house owners staying in the same apatment block paid similar bribes. so You can guess the amount they would have made with just one apartment residents. I was told the khata document would take 7-8 months if I did not pay bribe. sad but I had to pay
