Bribe for khatha transfer on inherited property

I paid a bribe of Rs.5000 for ensuring the khatha was transferred to my name for property that i inherited. This was the amount after all the relevant fees etc were paid. So, it was pure bribe amount. The initial amount asked for was Rs.10000 to which i said no, they said it would take 6 months or so and raised issues which did not exist and were not ready to listen to me at all. After this harassment i bargained and led to this amount after the payment of which the transfer was done in 20 days or so.
