I returned from Kuwait and I had to renew my passport as it was expiring. When I went to the Passport office, I was surprised that they were holding applications for funny reasons. I was forced by the clerk inside to ********** him outside the office during lunch hour.
I was not the only one. Along with me there were about 25 to 30 more peoples for various other reasons. He told me to get Mobile Recharge vouchers worth 1500 for my work to be done in 10 days. I was surprised the mode of corruption as there was no direct cash involved. At first I refused but when I saw everyone giving vouchers, I too had no option. Same was for my new born son, I had to pay RS. 500 in recharge vouchers. There are loads of open corruption happening and all are aware.of this. One voice is unheard and needs a collective voice.
