Mumbra is a blacklisted area of Mumbai, similar to areas such as Nagpada and to an extent ********** road. For police verification, in Mumbra, firstly no police man ever comes to home or informs the same. Everyone is directly called to police station with neighbors. Also, once the paper work is completed, unless an amount of Rs. 200 is paid to the police personnel, the verified file will not be sent across to the Thane passport office. They take this as verification charges which is not done anywhere else. Every person in Mumbra has to pay a bribe of Rs 200
