Bribe for New residential permit
I was asked to come couple times to collect the application form as the overseer responsible to distribute forms has gone for lunch till 4 pm. I had to slip in a few 10 Rs to get the application form.
once this was submitted, they were not ready to come and inspect the site and provide approval. After employing a local aquaintance to help me, he got the job done in a few hours by taking the overseer to the site. The bribe was paid to the Panchayat secretary (a lady) and the overseer (a gent).
