I was traveling from Delhi to Gwalior via road and soon after leaving delhi, just ahead of Faridabad, I was stopped by a Policeman (not traffic police). They asked all Car related document which I show them. Then they asked the Pollution check certificate which I had the expired one. The policeman there asked me to pay 500 Rs bribe otherwise, he said he would confiscate my RC and then I have to get it released by Haryana court one week later. I asked him to charge me any penalty which should be around 500-600 Rs for keeping no valid pollution check certificate. But he refused to give any receipt and only said you have two options either pay us 500 and go , or come to court after one week near someplace in palwal and pay Rs 3100 and take your RC back.
I was with my family and travelling, so I had to give him Rs 500 as Bribe. Which I did not want to.
