Bribe or Help don't know but it was instantenous from my side

When I was called to receive PCC from bhavan an old man asked for money, I offered him 20 but he asked 50 rupees form my side. I gave it without a second thought looking at his age. But now I am feeling that I did wrong thing and I should have argued with him. Sorry for this but in future I will never do this.
