I am NRI, my mother visits my flat occasionally, She found out the meter was faulty. The EB office guys asked my mom to send someone else to speak to them. She sent our driver. They told him to bring Rs.500 to fix the meter,My mom not believing the driver's claims asked the EB office and they claimed they had infact asked for the bribe. She had to bribe them because the Meter was showing high readings and we are at loss if its not fixed.Shameless guys.....
