Bribe paid in fear that passport could be delayed

I applied for the passport of my new born child. I stayed in sector 31, gurgaon. A police constable visited my place and took all necessary documents. After that he stood there in anticipation of something. Then I asked how much you want and he told 500/- is norm. I paid him 500/- because I didn't want any problem in this verification.
