I have paid a bribe after getting the summonce from local police station for the enquiry about Passport. He has ask me, why I need passport ?" I said to persue furthur study at France. He did not ask me directly but ask that it will take long time so I understand and I paid Rs. 150/- to do process on time. I have no criminal record during my entire life but still to earn undertable money they ask that it will take time to check the old records. Moreover, since my born, I leave under the same police station.
More shameful and painful is that, the officer ask one handicape man that why he need passport and after his reply, the officer has send him to brought the list of things (ie cigarates, pan, padiki etc) from nearby shop. I really feel so glad for him because just to get passport, one handicape has to do shopping by his own money and to paid bribe.
