I had to go to the court for a hearing to close my pending case of Bike lost. The police who accompanied me from Frazer Town police station - a gentleman named Kumar Singh told me to cough up Rs 500 to speed up the process or else i would have to wait till 5pm or cough up a fine of Rs 2000 for missing out on an earlier date. According to him - one either pays Rs 2000 to the govt or 500 to him or the public prosecutor to close the case. I really did not have a choice and had to pay it to get this headache over
