I am an owner of an apartment in Renaissance Temple Bells, Bangalore. Just few days beofer the registration to be done the builder sent an email to all and asked that we have to pay a bribe to get our apartment registered 35000.00 to 40000.00 depending the size of apartment. Since I am out of country and no one in Bangalore to fight this I was forced to pay the bribe to get my apartment registered, it is shameful act. Though we have around 350 owners out of which maximum stay in Bangalore, no one was ready to fight this out and just bowed their heads to pay and get the apartment registered. Lokayukta told they will be able to help me provided there is an representative which I was not able arrange. How can we fight this. I heard this is common with almost all apartments in Bangalore though the builders aer class A ro Class D. HOW CAN WE FIGHT *******
