Dear Sir ,
We had undertaken a motorcycle ride from Bangalore to Ooty on the 21st of December 2013 . On our return journey from Ooty near the masinagudi checkpost we were stopped and our vehicle documents verified and the Inspector there asked us to pay 300 INR to be allowed to take the Masinagudi route instead of the Gudalur Route .
He said that the masinagudi route was a One-way and hence we would have to pay to go against the same.
Also at the forest checkpost before mudumalai , we had stopped our vehicle but had been sitting on the same and the officer there called us in for parking infront of the police station and said the fine for the same is upto 2.5 Lakhs . We had not parked but had only stopped for a minute when he came in . The name of the officers was Mr.John.
