Passport File Clearation:
I am a Resident of Kolkata, Bangur Avenue, Kolkata-700055
I paid a bribe to the File Verification Officer in my local Police Station which is Lake Town Police station.
Incidentally my constituency falls under the jurisdiction under the 'honourable' MP Kakoli Gosh Dastidar of Trinamool Congress (TMC).which claims to work for the people and people's interests.
At the time i was very angry but had to give in because i was made scared that if he (the officer) rejects the file i will probably will never be able to make my passport.I even complained to the Personal Assistant of my local councilar Mriganka bhattacharya but he suggested that just giving Rs.200 will do no harm to your pocket.
But when i said that the officer is demanding the same amount which i paid at the Passport ********** Kendra as the Passport fees.Assistant said me to complain at the local authorities but unfortunately by that time i had given the said amount. So ifi would have complained instead of the officer i would have been the culprit and not the victim and as usual the bribe taker would have gone scot free.
