HI All,
I am satish Bijapur who have to pay bribe for getting marriage certificate after having all required documents and photos.
I went to Hubli Sub registrar office 1st floor. I have asked to pay 1250 rs as fee and said will not get any receipt for it.
After saying no the person said speak to sr.sub registrar sitting there who said i dont have time after that peon shown some indication.
I ended up paying 760 rs for my marriage certificate which should be given free of cost by govt and they take bribe no receipt given against any thing.
Hope we have genuine and honest investigation dept to kill this scam and bribe taking. Entire team who works for marriage certificate is asking bribe from people it can be seen live when you visit the office. They dont have fear. Uneducated people are looted for basic documents by agents joined hands with officials of that govt office. Including Sr sub registrar.
