Bribe for Validity certificate
I had applied for validity certificate owing to my community's backward status. The inspector visited my house but was not convinced of our financial status all the time he was suspecting that we were setting it up. He queried the neighbors and land lords all of them gave their opinion but he still didn't budge and left without providing and response for almost a month. At this point i met one of my friends who's uncle was a local corporator who told me that they wont respond unless something is paid to them, i was 17 then and had no idea what to do. I somehow made up that amount and I paid the bribe through my friend. I met the inspector in DC office and this time he greeted with smile and gave me the validity certificate. I paid Rs.3000, this was my first bribing experience.
