I have a site which I wanted to sell. Before this, I have to clear the property tax. which is computerized only for buildings not for sites. The Revenue Inspectors do not send even the notices. When I wanted to clear the tax, the RI insisted that I would have to pay 3 times the existing tax since the rates are under revision and instead asked for Rs.10K bribe to clear at the existing rates.
