Its a report of an incident about to happen, specifically 2 days from today, on Monday the RTO SADAR LUCKNOW's working day.
if u know a learner's license costs around Rs. 60 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. and a Driving license application a meagre of Rs. 100, if done without the "help" of an intermediator or the Dalal or the Bichauliyaas.
if u know a dalal it would be in your hand by 5:00 on anyworking day without any test or efforts of even visiting the RTO office. for that he would charge Rs. 1,000. and one month later an amount of Rs. 1,500 for permanent driving license for 4+2 motor vehicles. however if u will be able to show that u know how to drive then u will have to pay R. 500 only, if not then 1,500.
so in totality u pay an amount in totality of Rs. 2,500 for a 2 wheeler and a $ wheeler combined. while if u go by book and do it will still be available to you at Rs. 160 (+200 for the new smart card).
its every one in the office that has his share. the police that sits outside and takes 250-300 for release receipts for helmet cases or the person who takes the training tests at the time of permanency of the driving license.
