Bride of 1400 per person asked for missing Station

I was travelling via Purushottam Express(12802) from Allahabad to Bhubaneshwar which was running extremely late (8 hours) and because of which I missed my station and instead had to get down at Khurda Road Jn. While to exiting the station I was asked to show my ticket and on realising that my drop off station was station was Bhubaneswar, 2 people (name and designation unknown; but were in complete white uniform without any sort of badges anywhere), asked me and my friend(who had come to pick me up) into their office and asked us to pay 1400 rupees per person for missing the station ( the difference in fare for both the stations is just 20 rupees). Even after several arguments and justification they were very adamant but their rate kept changing ( first 1400 then 500 then 700, by giving highly unreasonable justications for the fine) and then finally one of them said to me in face that they have to reach their target of the month and since they hardly find any person with any sort of issue in the not-so-busy station they can't let us go without paying them something. That was the point when we realised they simply wanted bribe.
Hence they asked for 600 atlast but we paid 500 and they seemed pretty satisfied with it and let us go.
The incident took place at the office right beside the Exit of the Khurda Road Jn station and their so-called chamber is definitely that. They were dressed in white shirt and trousers and there was also a lady in that office who was involved in the bribe.
