Carried 2.75 lts of Liquor...

• Customs, Excise and Service Tax
• Customs Check and Clearance
• Paid INR 600

Was told that I am suppose to pay duty of 160% on the third bottle of wine that I carried. I said I am ready to pay duty and would like to have a receipt....I was begged by the customs officer saying why do u want to pay 45 dollars ...he begged me to pay 500 INR and said can go..out of some pity...and to avoid further disvcussions had paid 20 Singapore dollars....I CONFESS..NOT TO PAY BRIBE IN FUTURE....unless it effects me ( Had to say this...IS THERE A WAY *******
