I was at mekhri circle driving towards sadashivnagar. The lights were green to go straight as well as go left. I headed left first and then last minute, realizing I was going the wrong route, continued straight around the triangle. Despite the signals being green the cops stopped me. They said the fine was rs. 400. They also said I had to pay since I was caught on the traffic camera. After a lot of persuasion they smiled and said "Ok sir now you just pay 100. Next time be careful. For now we'll make sure you don't get into trouble for being part of the footage from the camera installed at the signal. These are the same cops who wait outside our office and let us come the wrong way to park out cars in our premises. My 100 bucks might be paying for his elaborate lunch somewhere. But I'm sure he'll do the same to pay for his dessert!
