I live in an appartment where the name printed on my EB is my neighbour's name.I contacted nearest EB office located in Powerhouse, Kodambakkam (Sivan koil street). He asked me to produce lot of supporting documents and I did. After doing all these things, he said it is a tough process to get your name changed as it is all computerised.I understood he is expecting bribe. I asked him when this will be get done. He answered, if you bribe me Rupees 2000 I can do it in 2 days. Otherwise I don't know when this will be done. It ********** take several days and there is chance that you ********** not get this changed.At last I agreed to pay Rs 2000 and he did change the name in a same day itself. Before changing the name I paid Rs 1500 and paid Rs 500 after the job was done. It is a *******
