I was travelling from Hyderabad to Mumbai to Newark. My flight from Hyderabad landed at 7:30 PM and I had to connect to a 11:05 PM flight. Line was huge in domestic terminal, so I got my shuttle from Domestic to International airport at 9:15 PM. Once I got down the bus, the airport worker came and told me to go to Gate B. I told him it says "United" at Gate A. He said, all the people to Gate B. The Gate B had huge line. He came to a foreigner standing next to me and said , "I can take you inside fast. Come with me". I waited for another 10 minutes and got worried that line was huge. THen the same AIrport person was walking and I asked him how to go inside fast.
He said "Saab, badey note dena mujhe".. I walked with him and he moved me to gate A, which had a small line and asked for 1000.0 rupees. I paid 200.0 but he wanted more. So I gave 300.0
Moral of this is: One person moves all the people to Gate B, with huge lines. Once you complain that line is huge, he moves you to Gate A and charges. And the problem is, these are the people that are connected to Airport. THey have the badge and all the details.
