Policeman suresh kumar (at least that is the name he used to introduce himself) came to my house for police verification needed for a new passport. He was outright rude and arrogantly told us we did not have the documents. I told him, in as much of a reasonable tone as I could, that the verification of documents has been done at the passport office and we'd be happy to provide additional supporting docs. He randomly said he wanted to see proof of earlier residence, which we provided. While leaving, he demanded chai pani. I first gave him 200 rupees. He immediately gave it back and said he did not want it. For fear of my file getting discarded, I gave him 100 more, he cribbed but sped off with 300...really 1st class, pure experience of living the life in India. His number is 9958893658...he slurs while speaking and randomly gets agitated...
