Hi,
I went to sub-register office to get a marriage certificate ,as expected there was no help desk i inquired one of the officer instead of giving the info he said u get one lawyer he will do all the work for u and said if u want want a lawyer i will give his phone number. I got all the info from net of how to get a marriage certificate, i downloaded and filled the form along with all the documents ,i submitted in sub-register office (here all it starts).he was asking witnesses of our parents both father and mother of both of us and the officer said no u cant submit individual u have come along with a lawyer,there were so many lawyer wondering here and there i asked one lawyer he said give me 2000 rs i will do u r job , i said govt fees i only 120 rs then u r asking 2000 ? sir i have give to registrar, sub-registrar verification officer ,registration counter and so on ,as my father and mother in laws were staying far away place ( mangalore)if they have to come to gulbarga they have to spend 2500 rupees i thought its better to give the bribe as i had no other option
