I went to police station in my hometown for police verification.I verified my address and identity.when i was about to leave,one of policeman demanded Rs 1000 as a fee n when i asked for the receipt,he said its my choice,if i would not give the money i would not get my passport in lifetime.Although i opposed,my father gave the money as he did not want any trouble.But i have not received my passport yet and police verification is still pending as shown in status.
