HI.
My father expired on 24th of Oct 2010 , First thing i need to pay 300 Rs for a Private hospital to get the certificate that the cause of death, when i asked him he said , that hospital has to payment to BBMP (Bruath bengalure mahanagara Palike). Because without this my father body will not be ceremenated in the Graveyard. Later when we went to inform for the burial of the body, they took 1050 for the digging and cerminating in the Graveyard in K R Puram (devasandra main road grave yard). after that , he was suppose to give me the certificate, for that the Graveyard again took 150 Rs. Later went to Muncipal office (BBMP) waited till 11:00 O clock morning then the person came and gave the application and mentioned clearly that the cost of 10 copies of death certificate is of 300 +50 . then later on when i asked for the receipt, he resisted of giving that. and said it is a govt office will not give such a thing. The corruption is happening in front of me and not able to talk to them. I wonder for a person who wants to die should provide this money as future expenses and then die. the pathetic part is every step is corrupted and every where money is required. without money no work can be done. If we middle class are feeling the pinch in this form then what will be of poor class, rather people who cannot afford so much money. Can any one help the humanity.....:(
