Customs clearance for LCD TV!

Purchased a LCD TV from Dubai and on reaching Kochi International airport, customs officer gave a duty of Rs.10000, which was much above the normal duty.When started requesting to reduce rate,he gave deal of Rs.2000!! I had no choice to get my TV!He introduced another officer n uniform and told he will collect money outside and gave me TV!
While am meeting my parents outside, the officer came in different dress as a local guy(in lungi!!) and took money from me .. PATHETIC! Shame on me too ..
