I went to receive my friend from airport who was coming form Singapore. She was asked to pay for excess baggage which she obliged but apart from the official challan that has been issued she was charged 5,500 INR. As she did not carry Indian currency she had to come to visitors area and take the money from us and give it to the officer. Only after this her luggage was released.
