I landed on a Lufthansa flight from Boston to Hyderabad and was not carrying any illegal or unauthorized goods. I was visiting family and was carrying my personal camera and laptop which intended to take back to Boston. The jawaan at the exit gate threatened to take to me a "officer" and keep me waiting for "hours" if I did not pay him $. I had a connecting domestic flight which I'll miss if I went in the official route. So ended up paying him $20.
